Clean Hair
Having clean, healthy hair is the first step to having and maintaining a glorious crown. More important than the color or the style of your hair, well-groomed locks determine how presentable you look. Here are some hair-cleaning tips:
Choose a shampoo to cleanse the tips of your hair according to hair type. Most of the shampoos indicate this on their labels. Change the shampoo you use from time to time and make use of a deep cleansing shampoo to remove residues from your scalp once a month. Take your time to rinse off shampoo with water until the water is clear.
Make sure that the water you use when shampooing is just warm enough. Your scalp may get burns if the water is too hot.
Apply conditioner to the tips of your freshly-shampooed hair; do not rub it to your scalp as it may get irritated.
Pat hair dry after washing; never rub it roughly with a towel or brush it too vigorously. Remember, wet hair is very vulnerable. Wrap it in a towel and let it soak up for a while. If possible, allow hair dry naturally. When using the hair dryer, put it in the coolest possible setting.
